To recognize the dedicated efforts of first responders (Police/Fire/EMS) and raise awareness of the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation and its mission, the Rutgers Scarlet Knight's Men's Basketball Team is proudly hosting the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation's First Responders Game. The Foundation and Rutgers University invite all First Responders out for an afternoon of college basketball to watch the Scarlet Knight's take on the University of South Florida Bulls on March 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Rutgers Athletic Center, in Piscataway, NJ.
Tickets sold on this site are being offered through the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation. The tickets are for center court, 300-level seats and will be dispersed on a first-come, first-serve basis. To pick up your ticket, bring the ticket voucher to the Rutgers Recreation Center, will-call window on game day.
All proceeds from ticket sales through the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation go to support the Foundation and its mission to honor the legacy and memory of Kevin Apuzzio, a Rutgers University college student and volunteer firefighter who gave his life in the line of duty. In tribute to Kevin’s passion for helping others through volunteer emergency services, the Foundation will offer scholarships other community outreach programs.
